Ms. Dai-Rong WuChairperson / Associate Professor, Graduate Institute of Arts and Humanities Education, Taipei National University of the ArtsDr. Dai-Rong Wu’s research focuses on socially engaged art as pedagogy, examining how knowledge is produced through both art-making and artistic learning. Grounded in a feminist perspective, her work challenges traditional, patriarchal art historical narratives by centering lived experiences and collaborative knowledge production. As an artist-teacher, she initiated the decade-long pedagogical art project When A Home Becomes A Museum in 2014, and has been the principal investigator of the Experience as ARTS aesthetic education project for the Ministry of Education since 2019. Through these initiatives, Dr. Wu embodies her teaching as a form of art, disrupting conventional hierarchies and advocating for inclusive, empowering educational practices. |
